I did some very basic research, which took all but a couple of minutes. It turns out that since 2010 the average number of yearly deaths from the “regular” flu has been 32,000-plus. Yet no businesses have shut down, no sports events have been cancelled or postponed, there has been no FRENZY as if the world is coming to an end, etc. Yet, currently there have been approximately 50 deaths in the U.S. from COVID-19.
