NFL and players union will meet with owners about anthem protests

Roger Goodell, you’re a pussy. But that’s what it takes to make it to be an executive in the un-United States of America these days. Just be in the right place at the right time, suck-up to minorities, and the job is yours!

Just don’t be a hypocrite. You supported the players with all their BS, now stick to it. Be a man! Stand up for your rights, and those of the “poor” players with their social injustice bullsh*t!

The bottom line is this, when all those corporate dollars begin to wane, you bend over and grab your ankles (after dropping your pants of course). And this is exactly what all of these players with a “real cause” are doing. You know what you all are, nothing but prostitutes; highly paid prostitutes. Except that prostitutes have more class than you or the players. Because they aren’t hypocrites. They say it like it is. They know what they do and they continue doing it. They don’t pretend to be anything they’re not. They have way more class than you, the players, or the ass-kissing owners who would sell their souls to the devil if the devil was buying…

You spine-less hypocrites are now trying to figure out how to mend things, right. F*CK YOU all!!! TGO

A day after the NFL said the league would be discussing what to do about national anthem protests at the owners’ meetings next week, it sent out another memo saying the players union would be involved in those discussions.

Wednesday, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy tweeted that commissioner Roger Goodell and union head DeMaurice Smith would be there to talk to owners about what the league can do to move forward on players’ concerns toward social issues.

The owners will meet Oct. 17-18 at The Conrad in New York.

“Commissioner Roger Goodell reached out to NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith today and both he and player leadership will attend the League meetings next week,” the league said in a statement. “There has been no change in the current policy regarding the anthem. The agenda will be a continuation of how to make progress on the important social issues that players have vocalized. Everyone who is part of our NFL community has a tremendous respect for our country, our flag, our anthem and our military, and we are coming together to deal with these issues in a civil and constructive way.”

On Tuesday, Goodell sent a memo to teams saying, “We believe that everyone should stand for the National Anthem.”

Then Wednesday, after President Trump tweeted that it was “about time” Goodell and the NFL demanded all players stand for the anthem, the league sent out a statement, clarifying the commissioner’s stance that the league was looking to “move from protest to progress, working to bring people together.”

  1. At least to me, the reality is very clear. Logic. But then, Ghostrider Consciousness has always been logical. The reality is that football fans wants the NFL to do what the law won’t allow them to do. The Supreme Court has already ruled on this in 1986…. “…neither government, employers, or schools, shall force citizens, employees, students, or persons, to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, stand for the National Anthem, or pray. They may ask or suggest but any punitive actions taken against refusals shall be unlawful…” So if I was a player that just didn’t feel like standing I would not do so and let them fire me if they so pleased and then file a lawsuit. This is the land of the Courts and that is exactly what they are here for. Let the Judge’s decide not the asshole fans. As far as Colin is concerned, his actions probably gave him another decade or two of healthy life span and being that its in the NFLs best interest to play their assets till theyre brain dead, he should just have told them to kiss his ass from day one. With a graduate degree fro UofN under his belt and a net worth of close to 25 million, Colin will not become a USP delivery guy in this lifetime. -Ghostrider Wisdom…that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

    • Black players who really and truly care about their so-called cause (who are few) should do something about the plight of blacks in the United States, instead of blaming whites. They’re slaughtering each other over turf wars in cities like Chicago, Detroit and L.A. They’re fathering children as if they’re going to run out of semen by the age of thirty and then they abandon them. They’re beating up their girlfriends and wives, just because they’re there… And if there’s a natural disaster, they go breaking in to the nearest store (usually in their own neighborhoods) to steal whatever they can get their hands on. These players can kneel, sit, lie down or stand on their heads during the national anthem; none of that means anything and it certainly doesn’t fix anything. These guys are just in need of attention and so they act like buffoons.
