The killer had barely been apprehended and already the liberal media was talking about gun control. Surely they can’t be stupid enough to believe that legislating guns will prevent crimes.
Once again: last time I checked cocaine was illegal, can people who want cocaine and are willing to pay for it get cocaine? Case closed. Not to mention, there are hundreds of millions of firearms in the United States alone, not to mention the rest of the world! What do Democrats think, that police are going to knock on every household in America and people are going to turn in their firearms?
The problem is people, not firearms. Bad people use cars, trucks, planes, pressure cookers; whatever they can to harm others.
It’s refreshing to hear Laura Ingraham talk about the issue. TGO

Fox News’ host Laura Ingraham aired a segment on her show Wednesday night about the assault weapon used in the Parkland, Florida school shooting.
Throughout the segment, Ingraham spoke with her guest, Aaron Cohen, about the safety of the AR-15 semiautomatic assault rifle, and repeatedly lambasted Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) for calling on lawmakers to pass legislation that would limit access to such weapons.
“Didn’t take him long to go right to gun control,” Ingraham said.
“Is this a problem with the gun or the shooter?” she added. “Let’s look at the AR-15, what makes it so popular and overwhelmingly what makes it so safe.”
Ingraham and her guest continued to highlight the benefits of the AR-15 for home defense, with Cohen noting that Murphy wasn’t “really qualified” to offer a commentary on its safety.
“This is a security issue. It’s not a weapon issue,” Cohen said. “That kid had parents. Where’s the parents?”
At least 17 people were killed on Wednesday and more than a dozen injured in the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The suspect, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, allegedly used an AR-15 assault-style rifle and had “multiple magazines” on him, the Broward County Sheriff said.
The AR-15 was developed for the battlefield and designed to kill people as efficiently as possible. In most states, the weapon is relatively cheap and customizable to hold 60 or 100 rounds at a time.
Ingraham said the AR-15 was an “extremely popular” type of rifle. It has been used in several mass shootings, including the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre and the deadly attack on a Las Vegas music festival last year.
Murphy was elected to the Senate just before 27 people were killed in the Sandy Hook shootings. On Wednesday, he took to the Senate floor to urge his colleagues to take action and stop what he called an “epidemic of mass slaughter.”
Murphy also laid a heap of blame on Congress.
“We are responsible for a level of mass atrocity that happens in this country with zero parallel anywhere else,” he said.

My friend, I never thought it would happen to you. Never! It took listening to this Jimmy Kimmel monolog, to realize that indeed it has happened. Trump and the Conservative whack jobs have brainwashed The Great One. And what is really more mind boggling is how Trump did it to you. The ease he did it to you. Just talked some non politically correct CACA and you were hooked. Take a listen for yourself. https://youtu.be/2_SOJnYFBFQ

Yep, I can buy cocaine on the streets of Miami, 24/7. But could I buy a Drivers License? Nope!
First of all, we need Gun Regulation. Stop calling it gun control because the idiots think that means taking their guns away. At one time I owned 8 different guns. As an employee in the late 80s I had free use of City of Coral Gables police gun range so I know my way around gun ranges. Have been to gun shows so I know my way around them and gun stores and the classifieds. Someone that has never been to a range, show, or store might not. I was in Las Vegas in 2007 and had a reservation to rent a Harly and was gonna ride to Sedona. But that morning lost my drivers license so of course, they’re not going to handoff a Harly to me. This was my pre passport days so for all intents and purposes, had no valid ID. I spent 8hrs, a whole day going to 2 different DMV offices trying to get a Nevada Drivers License, even having a resident with me attesting that I had just moved in with her. For the life of me, I could not get one. Of course I did not test my theory but with my experience in the gun world, I do not have the slightest doubt that I could have purchased a gun while there. I did have my credit cards, voter registration, etc. In a world where one can buy a gun easier than a drivers license, something is definitely wrong.
