I don’t always agree with Bill Maher, especially since he’s an ultra-liberal. I still recall him saying something to the effect that it would be good if the economy collapsed so that Trump wouldn’t get re-elected. Imagine that, hoping that America and Americans fail; lose their retirement accounts, their savings, their jobs… just to get “horrible” Trump out of office. Easy for him to say, he’s a multi-millionaire. Either way, he got his wish.
But on this issue I wholeheartedly agree with him. I actually wasn’t aware that animal farms were this disgusting, that animals were abused to this extent. I knew about veal, which is why I refuse to eat it, but I was not aware of the treatment of chickens, pigs, etc.
At some point, humans need to start being more humane. TGO
