“Pushing the revolution”? Sounds like Fidel Castro in Cuba almost 60 years ago when he pushed for “La Revolucion”! How did it work out for Cuba? Well, the country is in shambles – the infrastructure is shot, buildings are falling apart, food is still being rationed and society in general is deplorable, as people have had to resort to cheating, lying, stealing, whatever it takes to survive. But hey, the revolution made Fidel and Raul Castro hundreds of millions of dollars. Just something for Bernie Sanders to think about when he talks about the 1 percent. In socialist countries, it’s not the 1 percent who has all the money, it’s the .0001 percent!
Oh, and how about Venezuela, how is their revolution with Hugo Chavez and now Nicolas Maduro working out? The answer is simple: It’s working out great for the few in power, but for the rest of the country it totally blows. When people resort to eating rats, because it’s the only meat available, that says something about how well socialism works! TGO
