Who says we need to conduct trials, or even have a judicial system in this country any longer? All we need is Nancy Grace. She will DEFINITELY, in all situations and under all circumstances, single-highhandedly decide the innocence or guilt (mostly guilt) of all suspects.
What an arrogant, obnoxious woman! As stated in a previous post on this Blog; I would want nothing more than for new evidence to be found which proves, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that the jurors were correct and that Casey Anthony is innocent or murdering Caylee. Obviously, the odds of this happening are slim to none, but I can always dream, can’t I?

Dude… You may actually have quite a creative idea there I must say. I am not gonna bore you with the numbers but just between the OJ and Casey’s trials, a lot of hard worked for and earned tax payer dollars used. Why should the under paid but hard working citizen be burdened with that cost, especially when over paid yet incompetent state employees called prosecutors – whose salaries also come from the under paid but hard working citizen tax dollars – bungle up trials like the ones mentioned above, leaving those tax payers feeling empty and cheated by not even getting justice for their money.
This is quite an idea whose time has come, especially when we have to cut back on budgets. You see, the only ones that profited in the last 2 months was the media, the entertainment world. With the high ratings they charged a pretty penny to it’s advertisers. With this idea of yours, tax payer dollars would never have to be used as the media would pick up the cost, of course, by selling air time.
And of course, it wouldn’t be just Swift Justice with Nancy Grace as she could not handle the load on her own. There are many judges in the entertainment world that would gladly take on the responsibilities. There’s Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Mathis, Judge Alex, Judge Jeanine Pirro, Judge Karen, Judge Ross, and not only is that naming a few, but with a farm like the judicial system, the entertainment world would always has a steady supply as judges retire, get burnt out, or just plain quit for more money.
Great idea… word.
I think it’s a WONDERFUL idea, but only if it’s Nancy Grace who acts as judge. Hey, contrary to your beliefs, Nancy Grace could handle the load. It would only take her a few minutes (maybe less) to convict every defendant brought before her. BRILLIANT!!!
You are right, she probably could handle the load but it doesn’t work that way in the entertainment, and more specifically, in the world of cable news shows.
According to media executives, it would be great if they could have a dozen Nancy Graces – and their opinions carry more credibility than mine. While each of those Judges have their own style in the entertainment genre of news shows and varied ratings, none have experienced the success she has.
Nancy Grace, with a distinctive interviewing format mixing vocal questions with multimedia stats displays and an outspoken and bombastic style, has won both condemnation and praise, and two Gracie Awards. After the controversial verdict ruled that Casey Anthony was not guilty, her show on HLN had its highest ratings ever in the 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. hour slots on Tuesday, July 5th, 2011. Grace’s audience of nearly 3 million people that night was also a personal high. She brings the same in-your-face opinionated approach to legal news that several Fox News Channel and MSNBC personalities bring to politics, and viewers strongly endorsed it. Offering fresh material for both those who cheer her advocacy and others who find her overbearing should guarantee her continued high ratings.
The irony is that those who condemn her make up half of the reason for her success.
She’s still an asshole!
