This is so, so, very sad.
I don’t know what the answer is… banning AR-15s, banning all handguns, all rifles, all shotguns, all ammunition…
As the saying goes, “the genie is out of the bottle”. There is no way to confiscate the hundreds of millions of firearms in this country.
As for strict gun laws, I don’t believe they would make any difference as evil people, people who have a criminal mind, will always have access to firearms. It’s only responsible, honest, decent people who follow the law, any law.
One thing is for sure, there is something wrong with people in this country, and everywhere for that matter. But my question would be, where are the parents of these kids who go out and commit these criminal acts? Where are his brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents, his friends and acquaintances, his teachers? Surely this guy had a serious problem. Did no one notice anything? I just don’t understand how these tragedies continue to happen.
