Sometimes I feel we’re just going through a phase as a nation, and that reason and common sense will once again be restored. Sometimes I feel that this is it, that this is the way things will be until the United States is fragmented beyond repair. Sometimes, crazy as it sounds, I feel that unless some catastrophic event occurs, such as a meteor strike or an invasion of aliens (hopefully peaceful ones) we won’t come together as a nation or as a species, as humanity.
Anyway, only time will tell. In the meantime, I just wonder what it is that has caused so many people, particularly in this country, and especially on the Left, to have such idiotic and shallow beliefs.
