Prevailing religions

I thought it would be interesting to view a world map showing the prevailing religions for each region…

One of the facts I’ve found fascinating is that there are approximately 1.1 billion atheists/agnostics in the world as compared to roughly 14 million Jews. When considering how much noise each group makes, one would have thought that the respective populations of each would be reversed. TGO

One Response to Prevailing religions

It seems the atheists/agnostics are not too “vocal” of a group. Lets keep in mind that we never hear much from the pygmies in Africa, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, or Brazil, nor from the the Negritos of Southeast Asia. Interesting parallels between atheists/agnostics and pygmies. I wonder if the cliche, “Silence is Golden” came about from this phenomena. .
