I’ve always thought (and stated) that to be a “believer” one has to be deficient in brain cells. Then of course, there are the truly devout… These are the absolute morons; the ones who would get zero benefits from an eternity on a psychologist’s couch; the idiots who STILL will not accept that certain priests are not only capable of sexual abuse, but that in fact they HAVE sexually abused minors.
As the saying goes: “God bless them…” God bless them for being so stupid! TGO

Parishioners bail out Catholic priest in child sex case
ONTARIO, Calif. (AP) — Parishioners have posted bail for a Roman Catholic priest charged with felony sex crimes against a 12-year-old California boy.
The Rev. Alejandro Jose Castillo was arrested Oct. 25 at his Ontario home and he was charged with seven counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under age 14 and one count of forcible lewd and lascivious acts with a child under age 14.
Hundreds of people affiliated with the parishioners group Coalition to Exonerate Fr. Alex raised the $24,000 in bail money. Coalition director Ted Campos says they believe in his innocence.
As a condition for release, Castillo can have no contact with minors.
He was removed as pastor of Ontario’s Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in June.
