I always believed that Sean Penn was a very good actor, but I also believed that he was a crummy human being, partly for being such a devout socialist.
Similarly, even though I consider myself a conservative, I have never liked Sean Hannity and still don’t.
Seeing this interview, I believe that Sean Penn stayed on point (discussing the war in Ukraine) and that Sean Hannity on several occasions tried to bring in politics. He praised Reagan and Trump for their policies (which are commendable) but the “plugs” weren’t necessary. In other words, he couldn’t stay away from inserting politics into the conversation, which is what he said he wouldn’t do. This is one of the reasons I don’t like him; the same goes for Laura Ingraham.
Anyway, Sean Penn seems to be really shaken from his experience in Ukraine and even he, a leftist, believes the U.S. should give the Ukrainians the necessary military equipment to win this war, including war planes. I suppose that even he (although he would never admit it) believes that Joe Biden is a pussy. He certainly made his point when he stated something to the effect of one country being a bully… Lastly, his admiration for Volodymyr Zelenskyy is unquestionable.
