I’m not a big fan of revolvers as I much prefer pistols, but there is no denying that revolvers are more reliable than pistols; they’re less subject to jamming and misfires. The advantage of pistols over revolvers is the capacity. Most revolvers are limited to seven rounds or less, whereas pistols can carry 15, 16 or 17 rounds, plus 1 in the chamber. This is quite an advantage.
