To those of you who feel that NFL players have a right to protest the national anthem, when you go to work tomorrow organize your colleagues, step into your boss’s office and let him or her know that you’re all going to hold a political protest on company time.
Please let me know how that works for you. TGO

New York Republican Representative Peter King compared National Football League Players who kneel during the National Anthem to giving the Nazi salute.
Saturday, King slammed New York Jets co-owner and chairman Christopher Johnson who announced on Wednesday that he would pay fines for any of the players who wanted to kneel during the National Anthem. The Republican representative said it was “time to say goodbye to the Jets” for their decision.
“Disgraceful that @nyjets owner will pay fines for players who kneel for National Anthem. Encouraging a movement premised on lies vs. police. Would he support all player protests? Would he pay fines of players giving Nazi salutes or spew racism? It’s time to say goodbye to Jets!” King tweeted.
The NFL announced Wednesday that players will be required to “stand and show respect” for the national anthem. Team players have the option of remaining in the locker room if they do not want to stand for the anthem, but teams will be fined if anyone takes a knee on the field.
Johnson, who has been openly critical of the kneeling ban, told Newsday that he understands the players rights to protest on the field. He said he would “never want to put restrictions on the speech of our players.
“Do I prefer that they stand? Of course. But I understand if they felt the need to protest. There are some big, complicated issues that we’re all struggling with, and our players are on the front lines,” Johnson said. “I don’t want to come down on them like a ton of bricks, and I won’t. There will be no club fines or suspensions or any sort of repercussions. If the team gets fined, that’s just something I’ll have to bear.”
After the announcement of the new rule, Johnson said in a statement that the team “will continue to work closely with our players to constructively advance social justice issues that are important to us.”
The kneeling ban was put into place after President Donald Trump and others criticized the players for protesting against racial inequality and police brutality. Many other NFL players have spoken out against the new rule and expressed their disappointment in the decision.
“I’m not surprised – the NFL cares about one thing and that’s the NFL – that’s the bottom line…I’m not surprised, I’m disappointed,” Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin said during an interview with ESPN Seattle.
Those of you who feel that you have no rights when you go to work tomorrow and the boss says… we are starting a new program. We will begin the day by kneeling in prayer for 5 minutes, as we’re confident that will create more focus thru out the day….. I say do it because you are all ready lost, but if you believe in your own rights, I say, tell your boss that you will respectfully stay standing during those 5 minutes. We are not puppets bought to life by puppeteers. We were brought to life by our own Consciousness and it is only that, that will give us life.
The NFL did just that. They told their employees that they would start their day by standing during the playing of the anthem to please their Kings.
To the players, I say…Stay the Course. Be true to your Consciousness and if it tells you to kneel, Kudos to you.

This is not Saudi Arabia, therefore no prayers have ever been made prior to work. However, the national anthem of EVERY F*cking Country has always been played before sporting events. Before baseball, basketball, hockey, football, the Pan American games, Olympics, cricket (in India and Pakistan), rugby (in Australia) and soccer throughout the world! Now, some third-tier quarterback douche-bag wants to change things for some bullsh*t…
Since things here in the United States are SO BAD, and these players feel they are victims, and that blacks are victims, they can take their millions and live anywhere else on the planet they so desire.
Just stop with the whining already you bunch of pussies!!!
WRONG…tribute to the NFL’s ability to drape itself in the flag that nobody even realizes that – prior to 2009 – players being on the field for the national anthem wasn’t even standard practice.

WRONG!!!
It doesn’t matter when the national anthem was introduced at the start of NFL games. Even if it was last season, that’s irrelevant. What is relevant is there is such a thing as social decorum and certain things do in fact require a certain level of respect. Every society has social mores and norms that need to be practiced by all, otherwise, if people can just do whatever the hell they please, society crumbles. If you show up late to work everyday you’re going to get fired. If you decide you’re going to spit on the floor next to your office cubicle you’ll be reprimanded and if the behavior continues you’re going to get fired. There are certain things, as you well know, that are not accepted; PURE AND SIMPLE. If one decides to do them then one has to pay for the consequences. We’re social creatures living in a civilized society, not solitary animals living alone in a remote island.
I don’t believe in God and even more importantly I believe religions for the most part do more harm than good, not the least of which is instilling fear in people (depending on the religion) – plus the fact that many religions take people’s money for “peace with God” and the promise of “salvation”. Yet I don’t walk into a Catholic church during Sunday mass and kneel in front of the cross while the priest is speaking, because that would be DISRESPECTFUL!
Grow up already!!!
In other words you are saying that the owners that came out on the field and locked arms with the players need to grow up? I think not! This is what our Founding Fathers were thinking as they penned the Constitution. That protests must be allowed. Period! There comes a moment in a young mans life, where he must push away the plate, stand up at the dining table, and scream, “NO MORE JELLO, MOM”!
This is the Dawn of a New Consciousness

What I’m saying, quite simply, is that EVERYONE has the right to say what they feel/think/believe!
And that my friend, is the first thing that you have said that is worthy of Ghostrider praise. But I can tell you this. You can respect scum bags on the right, like Trump and Roseanne, all you want but I guarantee you, 38yrs from now when I’m all grown up, they still won’t get any from me.

I don’t respect Trump or Roseanne, and quite frankly, I don’t believe either one of them is from the right.
