Yet another Islamic sect, this one resides in Africa. I’ll say one thing about Muslims; they are consistent. Whether Afghanistan, Pakistan, or any other country ending in “stan,” wherever they exist in large numbers, one can be sure there will be a whole lot of violence, death and destruction. TGO

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria – A police commissioner says two gunmen who are suspected members of a feared Muslim sect have killed a local government official.
Bauchi state police commissioner Danlami Yar’Adua said that Mallam Tukur died after being shot in the body and head at his home Friday night. Yar’Adua said Saturday that no arrests have been made.
Authorities could not confirm if the gunmen were a part of the Boko Haram sect, but the murder carried the same characteristics of recent attacks blamed on the sect. In recent weeks, 13 officers have allegedly been shot dead by sect members.
Followers of Boko Haram, which means “Western education is sacrilege” in Hausa, have emerged recently from hiding after their followers started a July 2009 riot, which led to a subsequent security crackdown that left 700 people dead.
Muslims are the same every where as u said, because they have one single book every where, but those with different books and differnt contents from the books, they must be differents every where, some of them do even lock up their brethren and burn them to ashes in the name of religion.
Yes, Muslims do have a single book. But there are several problems with this “holy” book, the Koran. First of all, just like the Bible, it was written by ignorant, barbaric people. Secondly, it’s full of superstitious nonsense. Thirdly, it promotes violence and hatred. And lastly, it is interpreted differently by different people. This is why Muslims of one sect are killing their own brethren who belong to another sect.
Islam is no better than Christianity. When Christianity ruled Europe centuries ago, Christians killed innocent people in the name of God. Now Muslims are killing people all over the world in the name of Allah. Hopefully when Muslims become civilized, as most Christians have become, they’ll stop killing people also.
Enough blood has been spilled throughout history in the name of fictitious gods to fill the world’s oceans.
