Broncos open to bringing in Colin Kaepernick?

Well, just look at him. If you were the owner of an NFL team, wouldn’t you want this guy as the face of your franchise? Sure, why not. In this disgusting politically correct world of ours it would be the right thing to do. You would make all the liberals who sit during the national anthem, or support those who do it, like the Colon pictured below, very happy.

Unfortunately, in addition to all the baggage that he brings, he absolutely sucks as a quarterback. But go ahead Broncos, pick up the Colon. Amazing isn’t it, from one extreme to the other; Tim Tebow to Colin Kaepernick, who would have thought?

The Broncos were interested in Colin Kaepernick before his national anthem protest.

This, of course, lleads to speculation as to whether the Broncos would consider free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick. It appears that head coach Vance Joseph is exploring “every option.

It’s worth noting that the Broncos are not planning on signing any quarterbacks before Thursday’s final preseason game. Wide receiver Jordan Taylor will reportedly serve as starter Trevor Siemian’s backup. Rookies Kyle Sloter and Chad Kelly are also on the roster, though Kelly is expected to take his first year off as a sort of redshirt following a wrist injury.

If Lynch’s injury keeps him sidelined longer than the anticipated few weeks, the Broncos might take a different approach.

Kaepernick has been on a few team’s radars over the past several weeks. The Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins dropped his name in discussions after their quarterbacks became injured.

The situation in Denver, as well as the Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback saga, will both be worth monitoring as it pertains to any chance Kaepernick might land on a team in 2017.
