KOBLENZ, Germany – A 48-year-old man who admits fathering eight children with his stepdaughter is back in court facing hundreds of counts of sexual abuse.
Detlef S.’s stepson Bjoern B is scheduled to take the stand Wednesday in the second day of his trial on 350 counts of sexual abuse. He is alleged to have assaulted his daughter, stepdaughter and stepson for more than 20 years. He also faces 35 other counts for allegedly forcing the two girls to have sex with other men for money.
As the trial opened Tuesday the man, whose full name was not given in accordance with German privacy laws, acknowledged fathering the children — one of whom died in infancy — with his stepdaughter. But his attorney says he does not admit to the charges against him.
His stepdaughter testified in a closed session Tuesday.
